UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Our Fish

Our waters contain some prize Perch, Carp, Tench, and other species which are guaranteed to keep you wondering what your next catch could be.

Rudd

Rudd

Fishing for Rudd is similar to fishing for Roach and the baits used for catching Rudd are the same as used for Roach. Float fishing with a small pellet waggler rigged with light tackle and small fine wire hooks is considered the best method for fishing for Rudd.

Tench

Tench

Tench respond very well to groundbaiting so if you can, pre-baiting the area you are going to fish beforehand could give you a better chance of catching.Start by laying down a bed of groundbait using brown crumb or continental groundbait with sweetcorn, casters, chopped up worms and some of your hook bait mixed in.

Tench

Carp

Carp are caught using various methods including float, ledger or feeder. The feeder or ledger is generally the first method anglers try when fishing for carp and is a popular method used by specimen anglers fishing for carp. There are also many baits for catching carp and some carp anglers swear by the use of boilies.
